Permanently closed, with locked gates. Sign says that it's moving somewhere north but no real details. Really this location should be removed from google maps as not to annoy people like me and my family who went looking for it.
GAME OVER - JUST BACK IN LAOS AND NOW CLOSED AND MOVING TO NEW LOCATION - So sorry for all of you that missed the OLD MUSEUM . I presume that the new one will be in a modern building but the content wil be the same and, unless they close verything in crystal case it will be FANTASTIC AS THE OLD ONE.
Still like in the 60's and the silly brains that do not understand the value of getting to see a place like in the war time ...well better you off to Vegas. An amazing series of pictures of those times, weapons of any time and real one, a marvellous athmosphere of the past, maps, radios all come from the real epoca of the war and sadly, from the suffering of many people. For me is one of the last real museum where you jump in the past and i hope they delay to build the new one :-)
There are three Museums in this city that are almost exactly the same in presentation. This one is kinda run down comparatively, but still totally worth it if you're into the museum experience.

::Good collections of historical artifacts. However they need proper caring to last longer.

::Please note! Relocated as of December 2017 to 10km north to a huge museum. You must submit passport or they won’t let you in, craziness!!
